THE SKIDS 'The Absolute Game' Tour + special guests: TBC The Skids celebrate their third studio album 'The Absolute Game', which was their most commercially succesful album reaching the #9 in the UK album charts. 'The Absolute Game' featured the singles 'Circus Games', 'Goodbye Civilian' and 'Woman in Winter'. The Skids are a punk/new wave band who formed in Dunfermline, Scotland in 1977. They went on to have 10 singles in the UK charts including 'Into The Valley', 'The Saints Are Coming' (later covered by U2 and Green Day), 'Masquerade', 'Working For The Yankee Dollar', 'Animation' and 'Charade'.
