✨ THE OXYTOCIN LOUNGE ✨
A Platonic Touch Workshop for Women
The Yoga Cafe, Manchester | Sunday 29th of June 5-9 pm
Welcome to a restorative evening of nourishing connection, grounded presence and conscious cuddles.
Through guided practices in co-regulation, healing touch and embodied boundaries and consent, you’re invited to relax into your body and come home to yourself, with the loving support of other women.
In our tribal roots, women would come together to support each other to regulate in all their various cycles of womanhood. Women’s nervous systems need oxytocin releasing practices and safe relational connection to regulate. Sadly, our modern world has moved far away from these practices and women have experienced many ways of relational ruptures and lack of trust and support from each other. Women have learnt to take on more than their nervous systems are wired to do. On top of this, it is also common for women to experience a lack of awareness of their bodies and boundaries, and suppressed desires for the sake of taking care of others, and putting others' needs first.
It is time to shift things to more organic and tribal ways of being. When women come together to co-regulate, connect and use platonic touch, deeper layers of healing and empowerment can happen.
Through co-regulation in sisterhood trust can be restored and embodied safety can be experienced.
The Oxytocin Lounge has been created as a safe haven to explore what it is like to be deeply connected to our bodies’ signals, intuition and desires through deeply supportive embodiment practices. The power that can be experienced from these practices, has incredible ripple effects in our communities and wider world.

✨ DISCLAIMER: Trauma Aware Space
This is a trauma aware space and we aim to create a space that supports regulation and as much safety as it’s possible. It is important to acknowledge that we are humans and we get triggered and activated. This is even more true for intimacy and connection group spaces. We want to acknowledge that being in these spaces may trigger us into past trauma and trauma responses. The team is trauma aware and can offer emotional first aid - but these intimacy and connection spaces are not offering a process space for trauma and trauma response and/or resolution. Please seek out further support from experts beyond the cuddle workshops. Please email us at
