The Carpenter Ants and WVMHOF member John Ellison are appearing at River Raisin Distillery

Please join us and 2015 West Virginia Music Hall of Fame member John Ellison at River Raisin Distillery.

John is a McDowell County native and former member of the seminal Rochester, New York-based group Soul Brothers Six back in the 1960s. Ellison is a talented and successful songwriter best known for writing the song "Some Kind of Wonderful." The song was a Top 10 hit for Grand Funk Railroad in 1974. To date, the song has sold more than 42 million copies and has been covered by more than 70 artists.
