You can look forward to a mouthwatering selection of homemade foods, spotlighting Manchester’s German heritage. Highlights include kniffles and German potato salad, crafted from time-honored recipes. We will also have BBQ pork sandwiches, hot chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, American potato salad, coleslaw, baked beans, chips and drinks. These dishes will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting Emanuel Church.
Kids will have a blast in the colorful bounce house, sponsored by Chrissy Whitesall with the McKernan Realty Group at Reinhart Realtors. While the kids enjoy their fun, parents and grandparents can relax, reconnect with neighbors, and soak in the warm summer atmosphere. Enjoy the music from our local group of Dulcimer players, who practice weekly at Emanuel Church, and are always welcoming new people wanting to learn to play.
No ice cream social is complete without its signature treat, and Emanuel Church will serve up free cake, donated by our members, and ice cream for all. Volunteers will dish out scoops of creamy vanilla and chocolate ice cream to pair with many cake flavors to choose from.
The Annual Ice Cream Social is more than just a gathering - it's a chance for Manchester residents to come together, share stories, and create lasting memories. Whether you're a longtime attendee or a first-timer, this event is sure to leave you with a smile and a satisfied sweet tooth. We can't wait to see you here!
