One half of the hit Dead Men Talking podcast Freddy Quinne absolutely hates writing about himself in the third person but needed to fill out this part of his website because sometimes promoters will use these bios and copy and paste them into their own comedy events when he is on. Including us. We are going to add that he is half-Manx and a very safe pair of comedic hands.
‘King of underground comedy’ The Pulse ‘A natural comic’ Manchester Wire ‘Quality comedy’ Fringe Review
Faizan Shah moved to the UK as a child. His well-crafted jokes make light of growing up in an immigrant household and the inevitable challenges it brings. The quality of Faizan’s joke writing, and affable stage presence has seen him progress quickly from beating Comedy Store’s King Gong and Frog and Bucket’s Beat the Frog to now breaking through the circuit with a strong 20 minute set and performing at both those venues pro weekend gigs in under two years. One of the most exciting new acts to come out of Manchester in recent years.
”One of my favourite new stand up comedians” Guz Khan “Nicely paced, deadpan delivery” Chortle
Many moons ago, Sunderland’s Matt Reed was offered a gig while taking part in a sketch-writing workshop. One gig led to three, and from there it snowballed, leading to a stand up career that’s taken him around the world. Matt has since been in every situation that comedy can conjure up, including broken ribs up a mountain and on stage nudity to audiences of anything from 10 to 25,000. Tour support includes John Bishop, Jim Jefferies, Sean Lock and Jason Manford.
