The situation for freedom of speech in Turkey has been under international scrutiny and critique for quite some time. In Sweden, not least so since the Swedish application to become a member of Nato, where Turkish opposition to this raised a lot of media interest in Turkey. But how is the reality in Turkey today? We will look at this both from an artistic and an academic perspective.
In this event, which is a joint event between the Malmö Academy of Music at Lund University and the Human Rights profile area at Lund University, we will meet three stakeholders in this area.
