The Social Table is a table we book and you come and play!
Come alone or with someone, but be prepared to mix it up with some friendly folk who are looking for company too!
This event is all about facilitating connections and creating an environment of fun and friendship. We know it can be hard to find friends who love board games, good coffee or even a cold beer when you have moved to a new city, and maybe don't speak the local language (yet) and we want to help.
Board games are a great way to spend an hour or 5, to have easy-going conversation and to combat loneliness and boredom.
So if you want to meet some lovely people, make friends and play some games, come and join the social table!

8th May:
This Social Table will have a bit of a Wild West flavour to it: it's Bang vs. Bohnanza. Bang is a social deduction game where the sheriff and the outlaws shoot each other to gain supremacy of the town. Worry not, if social deduction is not your thing, in Bohnanza you'll get to plant and harvest beans to earn coins, and try to become the best bean farmer of all.
There is no problem with choosing a different game but we find having a theme helps choose the first game and get the evening started!

22nd May:
This Social Table will be all about espionage: Codenames vs. Decrypto. Both of them are word-association games, in Codenames you will try to find out who are your allies hidden behind a grid of words, while in Decrypto you will try to decode the secret messages of the other team. May the best spy win!
There is no problem with choosing a different game but we find having a theme helps choose the first game and get the evening started!
So come be social and create your best story at the Social Table at Brads!
This will be a fortnightly event on Thursday starting at 18kl.
If you come late, you run the risk of the game starting already and missing out on a fun night. So we strongly encourage you to show up on time at kl 18. If you come late, we will always try to include you but we can not guarantee it will be possible.
We will suggest a game or type of game to get the night going but you are welcome to grab any game that sounds intriguing to you and try it out!
