IM MASTERS INTERSTITUTIONAL QUIZ BEE COMPETITION
Date: October 9 2025 Thursday 3pm - 6pm.

*Each institution from MATAPAT chapter may send 3 - 6 THIRD YEAR residents as individual contestants.
Other institutions outside MATAPAT chapter may send maximum of three representatives.
*Contestants must be pre-registered before the deadline and must be endorsed by the training officer of the department. Registration deadline is on September 29. 2025. Come and join*
*đ COMPETITION FORMAT OVERVIEW
The quiz bee will be conducted in two main stages:
Elimination Round
And Final Round
ELIMINATION ROUND will be divided into 3 segments: easy, medium and hard; it will be conducted via Kahoot. Questions in the elimination rounds will include recall and analytical questions. Score from the 3 rounds will be tallied.
The top 5 finalists will then advance to the FINAL ROUNDS. In case of a tie, a sudden-death question will determine who advances.
Final rounds will be buzz-in system, with 3 categories: rapid recall, clinical challenge cases and mind benders. The prizes include: first place 15k, 2nd place 10k, and 3rd place 5k. All participants will receive certificates of participation.
