In 2024, Alexander started gaining attention for his long awaited album ‘The Singing Stockman’. With the record being nominated for 2 Golden Guitar awards at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. During the festival he was also officially named the winner of the 2025 Thornton Young Award, supported by LWM House and the CMAA.
