About this Event

Emajamaa steht für Musik, die Träume zum Tanzen bringt. Mit Fernando Lyra an den Handpans, Rav Drum und Sansula, Tabea Hörsch am Cello und Christian Maurer am präparierten Schlagzeug werden in dieser ungewöhnlichen Besetzung neue technische und klangliche Möglichkeiten erforscht und mit Einflüssen aus Skandinavischem Jazz, Minimal Music, Klassik und Folk zu einer ganz eigenen Sprache verbunden. In ihren Eigenkompositionen verweben sich die Klänge von Cello, Handpan und Schlagzeug zu einer mitreißenden Performance, die das Publikum mal auf verträumte, mal auf tänzerische Weise durch innere Landschaften reisen lässt.
