About the event

Spring Walk and VE Day celebration
We will be holding our usual Spring Walk on Saturday 3 May. As the event falls close to the 80th anniversary of VE Day (May 8), we will make a point of visiting the two War Memorials in Tovil along the way.

Afterwards, there will be celebratory tea and cakes provided in the garden of The Manor at Hayle Place. Tovil Parish Council has kindly sponsored the refreshments and any money raised through donations on the day will go to a Service charity.

We will meet at 10:00am at the Conservation Cabin, Cave Hill, ME15 6DU. Please wear stout shoes and bring a waterproof if looks like it will rain. Members unable to manage the walk are welcome to go straight to Hayle Place, which is off Cripple Street, ME15 6DW, for 12 noon.

We look forward to seeing you on 3 May.
