Lambeth Piping with Ducklings

Decorate 3 cupcakes as a heart-shaped 'cake' with Lambeth piping and cute ducklings.

Learn the skill of Lambeth piping (vintage cakes). Create a heart shaped 'cake' from 3 cupcakes. Working with vanilla frosting, flat-ice and decorate with Lambeth piping and adorn your cake with cute ducklings, water lilies and flowers. Everything is explained step by step and the skills learned can easily be adapted to a larger celebration cake or individual cupcakes.

How to:
- create marbled icing
- ice a cake board
- use moulds to make little ducklings
- make water lily leaves and flowers from sugar
- add dust colours, painting and glaze to enhance your sugar creations
- fill a piping bag
- flat ice (using the upside down method)
- colour frosting/ buttercream
- pipe a range of styles including shells, ruffles and a ribbon bow.
- store and transport your cake
