Daisy Cupcake Platter

Create charming daisy-themed floral cupcakes using a range of clever techniques, a central plaque and arrange as a mini platter.

We will bake you 6 cupcakes which you will then decorate with a range of daisy designs . The skills learnt are suitable not only for cupcakes but also cookies and celebration cakes. We will explain each stage step by step, so whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced cake decorator looking for new ideas, you will go home inspired and delighted.

How to
- create patterned cupcake topper discs
- create an inlaid message plaque
- flood a message
- use moulds to create ladybirds and a daisy chain
- use cutters and modelling tools to create a selection of different daisy styles
- frill petals
- add dust colours
- use painting and edible glaze to complete your ladybirds
- use the flower centre mould to create realistic centres
- use cutters to best effect to create grass and leaves
- pipe a rose swirl
- store and transport your cakes
