Tourmaline Trio is a resurgence of Sarah Clausen and Jakob Heinemann's previous trio, Glass Hand. With the addition of Milwaukee drummer Devin Drobka, this group’s music stretches the limit of their individual technique, and showcases a fluid approach to contemporary jazz that unifies their affinity for complex notated music with free improvisation.
