We are preparing for Awakening, a movement of faith where volunteers are reading the Bible aloud, cover to cover, without pause. Beginning Sunday afternoon, August 10th and continuing through Wednesday the 13th, volunteers are taking one-hour shifts to ensure a continuous, non-stop reading of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation inside the church sanctuary.
More than just a reading marathon, Awakening is an intentional act of worship, uniting our church family around the living Word of God. During last year’s inaugural event, readers shared powerful testimonies of spiritual renewal. It's a chance for each of us to be deeply connected to God's Word in a unique way.
The Bible reading is only the beginning. Each evening, Wednesday through Saturday, Redeemer is hosting revival services featuring guest preachers from across the region. These nightly gatherings offer time to reflect, respond, and be spiritually refreshed by messages rooted in Scripture.
Let’s continue to seek God together, believing that this is just the beginning of what He wants to awaken in us this year.
