ROOFTOP YOGA

Join us on the beautiful Monona Terrace William T. Evjue Rooftop Garden for a unique yoga experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and balanced. This yoga class is perfect for all levels, with a focus on gentle movements, meditation and deep breathing to calm the mind and body.

Whether you're looking to reduce stress, improve sleep, or simply take some time for yourself, this yoga workshop with yoga instructor Joan Herzing is the perfect opportunity to connect with your body and mind.

At the end of class, Joan will play from her collection of handpans and tongue drums, which will help you let go of any remaining tension or stress. The sound vibrations will promote a sense of inner peace, balance, and harmony, leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.

Be sure to wear clothing that is comfortable to move in and bring something to lie on (e.g. yoga mat, beach towel, camping bedroll). The rooftop is made up of stone tiles. Also be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen, there is little to no shade on the rooftop.

Bio: Joan Herzing is an RYT-500 she has completed programs with 21st Century Yoga on the Mat and the RajaHatha school of yoga. She is a Reiki Master, and trained in Sound Healing, Aromatherapy, Pranayama, Meditation, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra. In her classes, expect dynamic movement, breathwork, meditation, and a physical challenge adaptable for multiple levels. Her goal is for students to leave feeling lighter and stronger physically, emotionally and spiritually.
