Doors 7PM / Show 8PM

The band Party Knife, originally known as Knife Party, (not to be confused with the EDM duo) is reuniting for a special performance on August 1st at the Bur Oak, along with Madison area band, The Skintones, and special guest Dead Man Bordeaux, to raise money for cancer research!
Hailing from Marshall, WI, Party Knife brought a big sound of rock and Nu Metal to the Madison scene from 2002 to 2010, influenced by early 2000 bands like the Deftones, Staind, and Taproot. The reunion show will feature original members Cole Simmons on lead vocals and guitar, Matt Bomkamp on bass, and filling in for Tom Hellenbrand is Steve Lee on drums. Come to a Party Knife bash to bash cancer!
Discography: Undechtotomy (2003); Fear of Change (2004). Unreleased: Break, Blue Eyes, Abuse, and Complicated.
The Skintones will show off their 25 years of rocking an unholy trifecta of punk, metal and dark humor with just enough pop and classic rock sensibilities. Consisting of Pete Ross (guitar, vocals), Gavin Lefebvre (bass, vocals), and Tony Leskinen (drums, vocals), The Skintones "freely range across the spectrum of musical styles, but always remain grounded in their own perverse blend of punk and metal." - The Isthmus

Discography: Rock Scene Problem (2002), Never Get Better (2004), This is Science (2006), Coming to Collect (2023)
Rounding out this one of a kind fundraiser/birthday party/time warp back into 2000's Madison local music is Dead Man Bordeaux, traveling all the way from Wausau, Wisconsin to perform his own solo brand of acoustic rock music originals and covers. His goal? To entertain and have a damn good time.
