The lovely ladies of the Crooked Crossroads Society, with a sly smile and a basket of blooms, call you to a midsummer gathering kissed by nature and spiced with mischief.
Our Midsummer Revel will be a day of earthy magic, where we’ll laugh, craft, and let the summer’s warmth work its charm.
When: Saturday, August, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Where: Cedar Hill Park, Nashville, Picnic Shelter #2
What to Bring: A ripe watermelon and a trusty carving knife for our lively contest, summery snacks to share ‘round the circle, and your own drink—be it sweet tea, herbed water, or a potion of your choosing.
We’ll be stirring up delights with a twinkle in our eyes:
🌼 Flower Crown Weaving – Braid wildflowers and vines to crown your free spirit.
🍃 Nature Scavenger Hunt – Wander the green for treasures tucked by root and breeze and craft mandalas from our found treasures.
🎯 Ring Toss – Flick hoops with a grin, sparking giggles and a bit of friendly rivalry.
🍉 3rd Annual Watermelon Carving Contest – Slice that fruit into something wondrous, with prizes as delightful as a summer’s eve.
Come in your flowing skirts, with beads that clink and boots dusted by meadow paths.
We’re primitive witches, after all, —rooted in nature, with a knack for fun and a whisper of magic. Expect a day as warm and vibrant as a sunlit glade, with just enough mischief to keep things lively.
Sing out your RSVP by the glow of the Buck’s Moon, or when the wild calls you. 😉
