Hands-on workshop: Create your own "Porch Prairie"!

Bring a container (or get one from us) and make your own porch prairie in a special workshop Wednesday, June 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra Center for Music, 1118 E. Washington Ave.

Enjoy a short presentation by Eric Manges and then plant five native plants great for birds, butterflies and bees. Cost is $20 if you bring your own 5-gallon container, $25 if you get a basic container from us. Sponsored by SOS Save Our Songbirds, Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, Eric Manges Nature and Ace Hardware on Willy Street.
