Bierock is proud to present live music Compact Deluxe and The Swongos on the evening of Friday June 20, the day of the summer solstice.
Music starts at 8:00 p.m., and there is no cover charge for the performance.
Up first is The Swongos, coming to us from the St. Croix River Valley on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border.
The Swongos are a three-piece instrumental surf band whose music goes from soft, sweet and dreamy to wacky, wild and psychedelic. In addition to surf music, they have many styles of music such as spy, exotica, and psychedelic rock sprinkled in their sound.
They've played shows with The Surfaris, Surf Zombies and more!
Up next is Madison's own Compact Deluxe.
Compact Deluxe is an instrumental organ and guitar combo playing your favorite recognizable TV and movie soundtrack songs.
Their retro sound includes but is not limited to surf, soul, psychedelic, Spaghetti Western and lounge.
Compact Deluxe has previously played shows at the Stoughton Opera House, Red Rooster, Come Back In and more.
