Blooming Butterflies 2025

July 16 - August 10 | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. daily

Blooming Butterflies features up to 20 different species of free flying butterflies in the tropical Bolz Conservatory. Visitors make connections with these fluttering friends while learning about the butterfly life cycle. Chrysalis cases provide opportunities to possibly witness a butterfly emerge from a chrysalis! Explore the outdoor gardens with an I SPY Pollinators scavenger hunt that highlights the vital connections between plants and pollinators. Enjoy a pollinator-themed children’s book displayed as a StoryWalk along Starkweather Creek, and don’t forget—every child who attends receives a coupon for a free junior scoop from our friends at Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream!
