This class is perfect for anyone interested in trying their hand at throwing a pot on the wheel.Our experienced instructor will demonstrate each step of creating a piece on the pottery wheel and guide you through the process. You'll then have hands-on time to make your own piece(s). Each ball of clay is enough to create one piece. You can select 1 or 2 balls of clay at checkout—or decide during the class for an additional $20.

$55 – 1 ball of clay (makes 1 piece)
$70 – 2 balls of clay (makes 2 pieces)

In-class upgrade is $75 total.
Our instructor will glaze your finished pieces using our studio glazes, giving them a colorful, glossy surface. You’ll be able to choose one glaze color per piece.
Please Note:
Pottery can be messy! We recommend trimming long nails before class to make the process easier.
Also, keep in mind that using the pottery wheel takes practice and patience—it’s not easy to master right away. We encourage you to come with an open mind, enjoy the creative process, and focus on the experience rather than the final result.
For Groups:
If you’re booking for more than two people, consider our Pottery Wheel Date Night class, designed for up to four participants. You'll take turns on the wheel to create your pieces.
Age Requirements
Open to ages 11 and up. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also enrolled in the class.
What to Wear:
Please wear flat, closed-toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
