6-Week Intro to Ceramic Handbuilding & Surface Decoration

Build it. Decorate it. Make it yours.
This hands-on beginner course introduces core handbuilding techniques alongside creative surface decoration methods. Each week alternates between form and finish, giving you time to explore and play with clay.

Starts Monday, May 12 (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM)

$275 – includes all materials, firing, and a glaze session (scheduled after the course ends)

Week 2: Texture & Surface – Stamping

Week 3: Coiling & Building Bigger

Week 4: Carving – Sgraffito Technique

Week 5: Slab Building

Week 6: Surface Design – Mishima Technique

✨ Glazing Info:
After your pieces have been bisque fired, you'll receive an email to schedule a glaze session. This will take place
after the course ends, allowing time for all work to be fired and ready for finishing.
