Lagoon Life - "Drop in Session" - School Holiday Activity at the Botanic Gardens

Mysterious and Small "Lagoon Life" on display for our 'School Holiday Drop in session'.
Friday Sept 26 and Saturday Sept 27 - 10am - 3pm in the Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens Meeting Room.
You are likely to see Dragonfly nymphs, Fish (small), Diving Bugs, Damselfly nymphs, Water boatmen, Freshwater shrimp and lots more…
Freshwater lagoons are magical with a huge variety of amazing little creatures just waiting to be discovered.
Garden Friends have been collecting these macro-invertebrates and water plants and popping them into display trays.
Get up close with magnifying glasses and explore the watery depths to see what’s been found without getting wet!
Discover some of the water plants that provide shelter and food for these aquatic creatures...
