Musicians
Kausary. From Peru , Kausary play a wonderful repertoire of traditional Andean music mixed in with contemporary sounds. Along with this are the songs of Cuba and all these blended styles create a mesmerising collage of music for the mind and feet. Their name means “Revive” in Quechua. We are so lucky to have them back playing at our festival.
Local band Cloud Cuckoo have been playing a heady mix of revolutionary music along with hippie anthems for the past 20 years. They played at the first festival in 2005 and have reformed for the 20th anniversary this year.
Over the weekend there will also be songs from brilliant Chilean songstress Valentina Montoya, Chilean troubadour Francisco Carrasco, wonderful local dúo Acuarela and the marvellous accordionists Tim Hollins and Flakito, + more TBC.
