About the event

Anzac Day in Woodend 2025
Anzac Day is a time for our community to remember and honour the service and sacrifice of those who have served our nation.

From 6am we will gather to welcome the dawn at the Woodend Clock Tower.

11.30am – Woodend Anzac Day Street March.

Veterans and community groups, please assemble at the top of the High Street slip road (outside Bradley's Curtain & Blinds) by 11.20am.

The march will pause at the Vietnam War memorial (corner of Urquhart Street) and the Clock Tower, finishing at the Woodend RSL Sub-Branch in Anslow Street.

12pm – Woodend Anzac Day commemorative service with guest speaker Diana Ellis, Principal of Woodend Primary School.

Followed by refreshments.

All welcome - please invite your family and friends.

Our annual ANZAC Appeal will launch at the Woodend Community Farmer's Market on Saturday 5 April.

Our stall at Woodend Coles will commence on Tuesday 15 April.
