🤗🌟Additional Support Session for Farmers and anyone feeling worried or wanting to know what they can do, everyone can write a letter I promise to make it easy :)
Evening Tuesday 6 January 2026 at Adlington Village Hall🤗🌟.
Over the past few weeks, our community support sessions have been well attended. They have been run by volunteers, who are Samaritan trained, as well as a talking therapist and other volunteers with various backgrounds.
These sessions have been incredibly well-received and many residents from the area have told us how valuable it has been to have a safe space to talk openly or privately about the stress, anxiety, and pressure surrounding the Adlington Housing proposals.
We know that the farming community in Adlington is facing its own unique challenges, and several have asked for a session tailored specifically to farmers.
We’re pleased to announce a Farmer-Specific Support Session:
7pm till 9pm on Tuesday 6th January 2026 at
Adlington Village Hall
This session will offer:
• One-to-one or small-group conversations
• Confidential support from Samaritan trained professionals
• Practical coping strategies
• A space to talk freely about the pressures affecting our farming community
If you or someone you know would benefit from attending, please feel free to message us privately for more details or to reserve a place.
Support is available when you need it.
Please note that these sessions are for listening only and we are not able to give advice. We aim to let people know how to be aware of their emotional health.
Signposting to GP or further support may be needed by individuals 🤗🌟
We are also hoping to start a series of sessions to aid people in writing objection letters. Personal letters will pack more impact to show strength of opposition and the diversity of reasons for objections. There will be badges and biscuits :)
