Macclesfield January Grief Cafe

Join us for a warm, creative Grief Café at Macclesfield Picturedrome, a welcoming space for anyone carrying grief, whether your loss is recent or long-held. Expect an hour and a half of conversation, community, and simple hands-on creative prompts designed to help you express your grief, stories and emotions.

You’ll be guided through reflective, gentle activities using colour, texture and symbolism, with no pressure to share or “perform.” There’ll be time for quiet making, time for talking, and time for simply being in a room where grief is acknowledged rather than avoided.

Whether you’re seeking connection, a moment of calm, or a new way to honour someone you love, you’ll be welcome here. No art experience needed, just curiosity, compassion and an openness.
