“Make & Take Workshop” – Faux Stained-Glass Frames

This month, at Décor Amor’s “Make & Take” event, will be making Faux Stained-Glass Frames. It’s so fascinating to me how authentic this art looks, though we are obviously not creating stained glass. Instead, we will be blending the paint with other materials and use a specific technique that will give it that “stained glass” appearance. Participants may choose to paint something detailed/complex or simple, traced from patterns or hand drawn.
For this project participants will be provided with an 8 ½ by 11 glass frames, a wine variety of paint colors, brushes and other miscellaneous materials. A variety of photos and patterns will be provided for reference or tracing, or you may opt to bring your own.
Remember, taking time to be creative is a holistic way to manage life’s stresses, have fun and meet others. Take time for yourself. Come and enjoy some jazz, sangria or sparkling water and meet others while enhancing your creativity! This is a chill workshop, and we are all beginners.
