This blissfully relaxing Restorative yoga class is a way for you to make some time for yourself to recharge your mind and body.
Holding postures for several minutes with the support of squashy bolsters, soft blankets and blocks, there is very little physical exertion involved as your props hold your body weight in place allowing you to completely relax and let go.
We will finish our class with a Yoga Nidra, or yoga sleep, which is a guided relaxation that promotes a deep sense of peace, and is my personal favourite way to switch off from the world.
This class is suitable for everyone and accessible to people with limited mobility, those who are post-operative or nursing an injury, those looking to manage chronic pain, or those of you in search of a complete reset.
There are blankets available at the yoga studio but you may wish to bring your own blanket and an eye pillow if you have one. Bring some socks and a sweatshirt or warm outer layer as we are still for most of this class and you will want to stay warm and cosy.
