Soirée Ciné : Nora (2000)

Our next film and the last of the season will be Nora, directed by Pat Murphy on Thursday June 19th, a mere three days after Bloomsday. Nora is Nora Barnacle, most famous as James Joyce’s muse. Not more bloody men, you might be saying but Nora is a feminist look at these famous lives, from Ireland’s premier feminist director. An award-winning performance from Susan Lynch, with Ewan McGregor and Andrew Scott. We may even think of a Bloomsday apéro!
