Tims Ford Hike, Swim, & Picnic

Winchester, TN

Joint outing with Nashville and Highland Rim Chapters.

Lost Creek and Marble Plains Overlook Trails 3.5 mile loop, moderately easy. Meet at visitor center parking lot for a 10:45 step off.

Boiling Fork Trail, 2.7 mile loop, easy. Meet at 2:00 pm at the trailhead inside Fairview Campground. 129 Fairview Campground Road.

These hikes feature beautiful views of Tims Ford Lake. The Friends of Tims Ford recently built two bridges with handrails. After the hike we will go for a swim and have a picnic dinner at the nearby picnic area. Pack snacks, plenty of water, and a light lunch. Don’t forget sun and bug protection.
