Museum Career Immersion for High School Students

Summer Camp registration is open! Calling all high school students with a passion for art, history, and culture! Join us for a week-long adventure exploring museums in and around Lynchburg, VA. During this immersive summer camp, you will gain exclusive behind-the-scenes access to museums and archives discovering what makes each one unique.

You will learn about the many exciting career paths in the museum world, from curating exhibitions to preserving priceless artifacts. Each day will feature a new museum visit, offering hands-on activities and opportunities to meet with experts in the field.

By the end of the week you will have a deeper appreciation for the inner workings of museums and a clearer vision of how to turn your interests into a fulfilling career.

9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Open to rising 9th through 12 grade students.
