When was the last time Lymington was on the cutting edge of global trends?
The rise of the early morning coffee rave is a global phenomenon — with baristas and beats creating wake-up calls from Amsterdam to Mumbai and Seattle to Shoreditch. But now, Coffee Mongers roastery on Ampress Park, on the edge of town, has turbocharged the format to create something entirely new: an all-inclusive, wildly popular style of daytime celebration.
From 8am on a Sunday, DJs spin the best in dance music across genres, local run clubs gather, and group fitness sessions kick off alongside a sauna, ice baths, a barbecue truck, fresh cakes — and, of course, great coffee. By lunchtime, the bar opens and dancing and socialising carry on into the evening. The crucial part? This is for everyone.
Fitness fanatics and the sober-curious mingle with families, early risers, and party people — all wrapped in the unselfconscious, come-one-come-all spirit of the best festivals.
This isn’t a watered-down version of old-school clubbing. It’s something genuinely new: rooted in the local community, celebrating music culture, supporting brilliant food and drink producers, embracing the area’s thriving health and fitness scene, and most of all, encouraging people of all ages and walks of life to just come together and enjoy it.
It’s free. And whether you’re dropping in for a coffee, jumping in the sauna, or spending the whole day soaking up the music and atmosphere, there’s something here for you.
This is a movement — and Lymington is officially on the map.
