ENG (below) На перший погляд виставка іконописних творів з зображенням Богородиці, що тримає омофор над церквою заповненою людьми, що сховались у ній від загарбника, на тлі декорованої квітчатими взорами левкашеної дошки – це данина українському народному малярству. Але не все так просто.
Виставка має актуальність.
Тому що:
Покрова – це надприродньої сили укриття для невинних жертв агресії нападників. Це міць ППО і армії, що бережуть наші міста і села і життя цивільних людей.
Покрова – це символ українського війська та козацтва. Які боряться століттями з споконвічним ворогом.
Покрова – це віра в захист, вселенських материнських сил гуманних і оберігаючих. А отже це і про всіх матерів і жінок, що тримають покривало з любові над дітьми і всіма хто потребує.
Наші предки використовували розпис з із квітів, трав, птахів, тварин і арабесок, реалізовуючи своє естетичне ставлення до світу. Митці сьогодні звертаються до естетики і напрацювань народних майстрів, щоб знайти опору в тому давньому завіреному століттями фундаменті.
Будуть на виставці окрім двадцяти “Заквітчаних Покров” і кілька тривожних творів, бо Уляні не чужа тема війни в її різних впливах на душу і обставини.

At the first sight, an exhibition with iconographic works depicting the Virgin Mary, who’s holding a homophore above the church, filled with people, who hid inside from the occupant, against the background of a board painted with flowers – it’s a tribute to the Ukrainian folk painting.
But it is not quite that simple.
An exhibition has its own relevancy.
Because of:
🧣Intercession — is of supernatural strenght shelter for the innocent victims of attackers’ aggression. It is a might of air defense and army, who’s protecting our cities and countries full of civilians.
🧣Intercession — is a symbol of ukrainian army and cossacks. Who’s battling a primordial enemy for centuries.
🧣Intercession — is a faith in protection, universal maternal strenght, humane and protective.
Therefore, it is also about all of the mothers and women, who’s holding a cover of love above their children and everyone else in need.
Our ancestors used to use a painting from flowers, herbs, birds, animals and arabesques, realizing their artistic point of view of the world.
Nowadays, artists are turning to the aesthetics and developments of folk masters, to find a support in an ancient, certified for centuries foundation.
Besides twenty Flowered Intercessions there will also be a few disturbing works on an exhibition, because Ulyana is not a stranger to the theme of war in its different influences on a soul and circumstances.
