Spring Equinox Hike

The Spring Equinox marks the day the sun passes directly over the equator giving us equal hours of day and night. Celebrate the beginning of spring as we enjoy a 1-mile hike on top of the mound. We will end the hike by watching the sun set over the rock alignment.

Use the Eagle Rock Vista entrance off of County Road 8 to meet at the trailhead.

Program is free to attend but all vehicles that enter the park require a valid MN State Park Vehicle Permit. $7 for a daily or $35 for a year-round.

Program will be canceled in the event of poor weather conditions. Call the park office for updates at 507-283-6051.
