Beavers: Nature's Engineers

Slap! Come learn about America’s largest rodent. We will investigate the local beaver activity as we hike around the Mound Creek stream restoration area. Discover how these persistent critters use their unique adaptations to impact the landscape and serve as the original conservation engineers. Come prepared to walk approximately 1.5 miles. If the weather is poor, the program will be moved to the Picnic Shelter.

*Use the Main Entrance to meet at the Picnic Shelter.
