Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band + support

Artist and songwriter Ryan Davis is teetering on the edge of being huge. Catch him while you can at a venue as intimate and up close and personal as The Bear.

Ryan’s second album, New Threats From The Soul, will be released in July, and the title track has already shown the world that the band’s star is very much in ascendancy. The songs are country-tinged, certainly leaning heavily into what MOJO called a “mooning slide guitar”, but they also have a lilting, almost pop sensibility.

Support will be from Greene, the project of the excellent singer-songwriter Joe Anderton, which draws on acts such as Big Star, Tom Petty, and The Coral, while lyrically drawing comparisons to Loudon Wainwright Ill.
