Want to learn more about the many benefits of Nature Play? Join us for our upcoming workshop!
First, we'll talk about the stages and types of play as well as explore the many ways that playing freely in nature can improve the health and well-being of children. Then, we'll take some time to observe the kids in their play and discuss what we, as adults, can do (or not do) to best support this incredible activity.
Please feel free to bring a picnic blanket and/or chair for the discussion. Unlike most of our events, we're not requiring children to attend with adults for this workshop. However, we do highly encourage you to bring your kids if possible so everyone can get the most from this experience.

Requirements: ALL attendees MUST have a 2025 waiver on file. Forms for minors must be completed by a legal guardian.

We will be meeting in the field next to cabin/gardens and conference center at Greenway Farms. (In the event of rain, we'll meet at the shelter next to the parking lot in front of the gardens)
Please make sure everyone in your group is dressed in weather appropriate clothing. Kids should wear clothes that are okay to get dirty, wet, or otherwise messed up and consider bringing a spare set for afterward. We also recommend bringing water and some snacks.
All guardians must remain with and are responsible for their own children at all times. By attending this event, you accept all possible risks for yourself and children and acknowledge that facilitators and other members are not liable for any damages including but not limited to injuries, illnesses, lost or damaged property, etc.
