Walking with Plants: Plants of the Urban Trails

Come meet some of the medicinal plants that line our urban trails, from coltsfoot and horsetail to red clover, mullein and St. John’s wort. We will also meet poison ivy, and learn the plant remedies that can relieve skin rashes.

Meet at the parking lot to the left of the Best Western Motel in Cookville. We will take the Arthur Young Trail which winds downhill to meet the Centennial Trail along the LaHave River.
