Lecture with Frida Talik - Exhibitions and Visitors' Creativity
The Northern Drawing School Convention
Artistic director Frida Talik presents The Museum of Drawings exhibition activities and pedagogical work. What exhibitions does the museum show and how does one create an engaging museum visit for everyone? Talik talks about the connection between the exhibition experience and the visitor’s own creativity, which they can explore in the museum’s open Drawing Studio. But how come the Museum of Drawings is situated in Laholm, Halland?
The Museum of Drawings is the only museum in the Nordic region dedicated to drawing as an art form. The museum aims to highlight both contemporary trends and historical perspectives. Frida Talik has been Artistic director at the museum since 2013 and has developed the museum’s exhibitions since then. She is a trained artist, art teacher and animator and has worked educationally with animated film for many years.
For this year’s convention, Drawing & Language, the Northern Drawing School invites you to join three open evening lectures Wednesday–Friday.
