Origin of Bavarchi
From the creative mind of renowned Celebrity Chef , Chef Nellu Kaura ( who is the award winner of many titles like " Lady Chef of the year , Celebrity Chef , Asian Book Record holder , etc ) a venture by the name of " Chef Kala " was started in 2019. The main aim of Chef Kala is to provide maximum and correct information to people regarding the culinary field. To solve the queries is also one of the motives. It has a great wide scope which is expanding with time. We have become a family of 30k+ on Instagram.

Chef kala took its first step in 2019 and organised a benchmarked Culinary event by the name of " BAVARCHI".
And now in 2025 , we are aiming to conduct BAVARCHI Season 2 on a bigger and wider scale.
Concept of Bavarchi
Bavarchi is an open , pure vegetarian cooking contest where participants from varied locations are welcomed. The main aim of Bavarchi is to bring out the hidden talent in the Home Cooks , students , boys and girls of all ages. Cooking is no longer a job of Women. It is an universally accepted and reputed profession also.
Why to choose Bavarchi ?
Bavarchi's main motive is to instill a level of confidence in maximum number of people as it is an essential key towards success. Bavarchi is for sure not going to get any profit from the execution of this project. Instead it aims at bringing out the next state level Bavarchi who is going to be a role model for others. Here , the participants will be judged by the renowned Chefs who will be travelling all way long from different parts of the country. Bavarchi is cent percent a non biased cooking competition where the deserving one will win.
Rules for Bavarchi by ChefKala Season 2, A Pure Vegetarian Cooking Competition :
The event will have 2 rounds in total. First round will be held on August 19th, 2025 at Maharaja Regency, Ludhiana. The second round(The Finale) will take place at CT University, Ludhiana on August 26th, 2025.
In the 1st round , participants will come with their dishes prepared from their home. They will get sometime to present their dish in the best possible way.
Amongst them those who will get selected , will proceed for the 2nd Round which we are planning to schedule within the span of 1 week.
In the 2nd Round , Finalists will perform live Cooking within the time slot given to them.
Basically there will be 3 different categories
1. Home cooks
2. Student category
3. Inter club
And 10 subtitles will also be announced:

3. New Avatar(Most Innovative)
4. Most Eye Catching (Best Presentation)
5. Swaad se Bharpur
6. Sehat se Bharpur
7. Mummy’s Magic

10. Budget Friendly Dish

Registration charges for the same are as follows:
> Home cooks and Inter Club : ₹ 1000/-
> Students : ₹ 800/-
The registration charges includes a food coupon(lunch) for each participant.
In case of any guest/family member/friend accompanying the participant, additional charges of ₹ 500/- will be charged, per guest. The charges are levied for the food coupon(lunch) for them.
