Formé à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa et de Lubumbashi, Félix Makungu explore la technique de l’aquarelle avec finesse et profondeur.
Sous l'influence du professeur belge Teddy Verwilghen, son travail mêle sensibilité contemporaine et tradition artistique congolaise.
