This is not a coincidence. It’s a sign.
The Ball will take place during the Perseids weekend – a time when the sky doesn’t just watch from above, it becomes part of the spectacle.
Stars don’t stay silent. They fall with force, cutting through the darkness and lighting up the night.
Just like stars, queer, trans, and BIPOC communities have, for decades, cut through the shadows – leaving behind trails of courage, brilliance, and change.
Ballroom was born as a response to exclusion – a space created from the need for acceptance and visibility, for those who faced marginalization.
Since the 70s it has offered safety, empowering its originators to do more than survive – to influence and transform culture itself.
“When The Stars Are Falling” is not just a moment of celebration – it’s a moment in which each of us, with every step, becomes part of a larger story. A story that began long before this ball and will continue through every falling star of the future.
You’re not here by accident. You are part of this constellation.

🔸 To ensure our ball remains a safe space, we kindly ask that any instances of harassment or discrimination (sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, etc.) be reported to our safety team.

🔸 Audience members are not allowed to record during the Sex Siren and Body categories. If you see someone filming, please alert our safety team.

To nie przypadek. To znak.
Ball odbędzie się dokładnie w weekend Perseidów – kiedy niebo nie tylko patrzy z góry, ale samo staje się częścią spektaklu.
Gwiazdy nie milczą. Spadają z impetem, przecinają ciemność, rozświetlają noc.
Tak jak one – osoby queer, trans i BIPOC przez dekady przecinały mrok, zostawiając za sobą ślady odwagi, blasku i zmiany.
Ballroom powstał jako wyraz sprzeciwu wobec wykluczenia – zrodził się z potrzeby akceptacji i widzialności, tworząc przestrzeń dla tych, którzy doświadczali marginalizacji.
Od lat 70. ** wieku pełni rolę bezpiecznego azylu, a jego twórcy nie tylko odnaleźli w nim schronienie, ale także na trwałe wpłynęli na kierunek rozwoju kultury.
“When The Stars Are Falling” to nie tylko moment celebracji – to moment, w którym każdy z nas, z każdym krokiem, staje się częścią większej historii. Historii, która zaczęła się na długo przed tym balem i która będzie trwać przez wszystkie “spadające gwiazdy” przyszłości.
Nie jesteś tu przypadkiem. Jesteś częścią tej konstelacji.

The event is organized by a team composed of Adam Hunek, Gabriela Deczewska, Zofia Dziekanowska, Dorota Skoczylas, the ArtSystem Foundation, and a group of dedicated volunteers, without whom this project would not have been possible.
