Preparation Notes for
Bonds Meadow Bioblitz 2025
Date: Saturday, 2nd August 2025
Time: 9:30 AM — 4:30 PM (Drop in anytime!)
Meeting Point: Bonds Meadow, Sands Lane entrance (NR32 3ER). Look for the Bioblitz banners.
What to Bring:
- It may be sunny, but it’s not the beach! Wear long trousers and a long-sleeved top to protect yourself from nettle stings and plants you may not be aware you have an allergy to.
- Sturdy shoes
- Water/drink/snack
- Lots of curiosity!
- (Optional) magnifying glass, camera, notebook.
- Recommended: smartphone with registered iNaturalist, Seek, Merlin, or PlantNet apps. Take a look at this tutorial:

Registration: FREE! Simply sign up on arrival.
Important Note: There are no parking or toilet facilities at Bonds Meadow.
We encourage visitors to walk; if not, park in the surrounding neighbourhood and then walk.
