Jake Noll performs a half hour of stand up with openers Sammy Bronco and Janaya Future Khan.

Zipper Titz explores trans identity, addiction and family. The heart of this set is the understanding that there is power in admitting defeat. As a recovering alcoholic Jake had to fully admit and accept that they are an alcoholic and cannot drink without riding their bicycle onto a four-lane highway. They are also transgender (using they/them pronouns specifically to upset and confuse baby boomers) and the first step in accepting they are trans was accepting they were afraid of the unknown. Why did they relate so much to Kevin Bacon (gender icon) in Footloose?

Jake has learned to apply this same process of compassion and humility to anything they are trying to learn. Through Zipper Titz, they hope to give audiences the experience of an accepting space to admit their fears and ignorance and thus begin the learning process.

About Jake
Jake is a comedic force who's appeared on stages at Second City, iO, and Annoyance Theater with their sketch and improv talents. Crowned Best Stand Up by The Chicago Reader, Jake's comedic talents extend across comedy disciplines. Their friendly and impish stage presence has captivated audiences as cast member of the Lincoln Lodge and warming up crowds for comedians like Cameron Esposito, Joel Kim Booster, and Beth Stelling. Jake has also lent their comedic talents to Comedy Central as a content creator, while amassing a devoted following on both Instagram and TikTok. Currently they can be seen performing across independent venues in Los Angeles.
