On June 20th, as the city smolders under the summer sun, The Poetry Brothel invites you to surrender to Homer Erotica, our annual Pride bacchanal where ancient goddesses and queer deities awaken to claim the night.

At Sassafras Saloon, the air will thicken with lust and liberation. LA’s hottest queer poets will take the stage — and then take you by the hand, offering whispered confessions, dirty sonnets, and fevered manifestos.

For one token, slip away into a hidden chamber for a private, one-on-one immersive experience that blurs the line between performance and seduction.

Every poem drips with desire. Every stare dares you to come closer.

Indulge in decadent appetizers, sip from sinful libations, and revel in a realm where myths are made flesh and pleasure is a divine right.

Expect sacred hymns, filthy stanzas, and dangerous secrets whispered just for your ears.

Dress to K*ll. Channel your inner siren, your inner god, your inner beast.

This is not just a show — this is a night of holy queer decadence.

• Show Begins: 8:00 PM sharp
• Age Requirement: 21+
• Dress Code: Costumes, cocktail attire, and/or thematic evening wear encouraged (but not required)

• Private one-on-one immersive poetry experiences (available with token)

• An atmosphere of myth, mischief, and transformation

• Our show includes flashing lights, reasonably amplified music, fog effects, and possibly a startling glimpse of your true self.
