MOCA Sunday Studio, with Sustainable Skillbuilding Workshop and Student-Led Tours

Sunday Studio is MOCA’s party for art lovers of all stripes! Join us for fun and unexpected art-making experiences inside and outside the museum.

Create Art: Make your own print inspired by artist Belkis Ayon, currently on view in Diary of Flowers: Artists and Their Worlds.

Charms Galore: a Sustainable Skillbuilding jewelry repair workshop with artist Fina Valadez.

Give single earrings, broken chains, and forgotten baubles a new life with a hands-on jewelry making and repair workshop. Rummage through thousands of vintage jewelry charms and trinkets or BYOB - bring your own bling. Workshop participants will learn easy DIY skills for jewelry assembly, maintenance, and repair. Plus a tool-free kids station to explore creative reuse with beads, string, and ribbon!
