Welcome to the 2025 Bruin Birding Club LGBTQ+ Pride Festival!
Thanks to a generous grant from the National Audubon Society, we are excited to host the return of the Bruin Birding Club LGBTQ+ Pride Festival!
Join us at the UCLA Mathias Botanical Garden for a fun-filled day celebrating LGBTQ+ identity in the birding community. This in-person event includes a bird-focused mindfulness space, guided birdwalks and an insightful speaker panel featuring leading queer researchers and conservationalists.
In the afternoon, we will have a mixer featuring LGBTQ+ and environmentally-minded non-profits in the greater Los Angeles Area (lunch will also be provided!). There will also be a complimentary falconry show! This is a great opportunity to meet fellow birding enthusiasts and support a more inclusive birding environment. We will have a fun time!
