Sketch at Duck Pond in El Dorado Park West in Long Beach

This Sunday, August 17th, Urban Sketchers of Los Angeles is joining forces with Drawn to Long Beach will be sketching at El Dorado Park West's Duck Pond in Long Beach. I'll be hosting the event for both groups. We hope to be joined by a founding member and administrator of Urban Sketchers Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

The duck pond is located at 2400 N. Studebaker Rd, Long Beach, CA 90815. It is on the east side of Studebaker just north of a golf course and its entrance is at the intersection of Studebaker with E. Los Arcos Street.

At 10 AM we'll convene on the eastern shore of the pond nearest the parking lot. At 12:30 PM we'll reconvene at the same spot to share our work and take a group photo. The event will end at 1 PM.

Admission is free. If you encounter a payment kiosk that requires an entry fee, you have gone to the regional part of the park and are in the wrong place. Parking is free onsite.
